Inconel Series Corrosion Resistance
Incoloy 800HT/800H/800T offer superior corrosion resistance in oxidizing corrosive environments such as nitric acid or nitric acid-sulfuric acid mixtures. These alloys perform exceptionally well in sodium salt and other molten salt environments, with stress corrosion cracking resistance that surpasses standard austenitic stainless steels.

Welding of Incoloy 800
Incoloy 800 can be welded to similar alloys or other metals using traditional welding procedures including gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), and metal inertia gas welding (MIG). Prior to welding, ensure all scale, grease, marks, and imprints are thoroughly removed.
