Hastelloy is a nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy, which is mainly divided into two categories: nickel-chromium alloy and nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Hastelloy has good corrosion resistance and thermal stability, and is mostly used in aviation, chemical fields, etc.
Hastelloy is composed of elements such as Ni, Cr, Mo, Fe, Si, etc. It is Ni-Mo series, Ni-Cr-Mo series and Ni-Si series corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant alloys in nickel-based alloys. Its density 9.2g/cm, melting point 1330-1380ºC, magnetic permeability≤1.001(ºC, RT).
ERNiCrMo-4 is used for gas-tungsten-arc and gas-metal-arc welding of Inconel alloy C-276 and other nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloys. Due to high molybdenum content, this alloy offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting and crevice corrosion.
