1. Product Overview
1J22, also known as Permendur, is an iron-cobalt-vanadium (Fe-Co-V) soft magnetic alloy with the highest saturation magnetic induction (2.2-2.4 T) among all soft magnetic materials. Combined with a high magnetostriction coefficient (60-100 ppm) and high permeability, 1J22 is the premier choice for magnetostrictive actuators, transducers, ultrasonic generators, sonar systems and torque sensors.
2. Key Advantages for Magnetostrictive Applications
- Ultra-High Saturation Induction (2.2-2.4 T): Delivers maximum magnetic energy density, enabling compact and high-power magnetostrictive devices.
- High Magnetostriction Coefficient (60-100 ppm): Provides strong and repeatable strain output for precise displacement and high-force actuation.
- High Permeability and Low Coercivity: Ensures fast response, low hysteresis loss and stable operation under high-frequency driving.
- Excellent Mechanical Strength: Withstands high vibration, shock and repeated cycling in ultrasonic and underwater acoustic applications.
- Good Temperature Stability: Maintains consistent magnetic and magnetostrictive performance over a wide operating temperature range.
3. Typical Chemical Composition
