ERNiFeCr-1 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy welding wire designed for joining alloys of similar composition, such as Inconel 600 and Inconel 690, and for dissimilar welding between nickel alloys and stainless or low-alloy steels. It is particularly valued for its excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, thermal fatigue, and oxidation at elevated temperatures.
Commonly used in nuclear power generation, chemical processing, and heat exchanger fabrication, this wire ensures structural integrity under high-stress environments. It is suitable for both TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding processes.

- Excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking, oxidation, and thermal fatigue
- High metallurgical compatibility with Inconel 600, 690, and dissimilar base metals
- Stable arc, low spatter, and smooth bead appearance in TIG and MIG welding
- Suitable for high-pressure steam environments and nuclear reactor components
- High mechanical strength and metallurgical stability at elevated temperatures
- Conforms to AWS A5.14 ERNiFeCr-1 and UNS N08065
- AWS: ERNiFeCr-1
- UNS: N08065
- Equivalent Alloys: Inconel 600/690 welding wire
- Other Names: Nickel Iron Chromium welding filler, Alloy 690 welding wire
- Welding Inconel 600 and 690 components
- Nuclear steam generator tubing and weld overlay
- Pressure vessels and boiler components
- Dissimilar welds with stainless and low-alloy steels
- Heat exchanger tubing and reactor piping
- Overlay cladding in corrosive environments
